I was very concerned when I received a survey from Rutgers U . I am all for keeping the swamp in your capable hands and strongly objected to the government intervention. If you're proud of the presence of the rare , little grasshopper sparrow you'll agree , paved lots, trails and human invasion will impact the sanctuary these rare sensitive species now enjoy. The area is not large enough to support a heavy schedule of activities and will eventually resemble Roosevelt Park.UGH Believe it or not, when I was a child, the apartments, etc. Not built yet, it was a paradise.

Nice website! I wanted to know if other than the Birdingonthe.net site is there a more local site or hotline that will notify me of the days birding rather than the week? I sometimes would like to pursue seeing these birds but to wait week may be too late.

Thanks for a prompt response.
