Positions Available at Edison Wetlands Association:

Toxics Program / Conservation Intern (Fall 2009 & Winter 2009)
approx. 8-20 hours per week
Responsibilities: Program work, outreach, research and administrative duties related to the organization’s toxics, wildlife conservation, land preservation and environmental justice programs. Some possible work in the field or at the Triple C Ranch. For course credits and volunteer work only.


Triple C Ranch Intern (Fall 2009 & Winter 2009)
Weekend and weekday hours, 8-20 hrs/week
Responsibilities: Animal care, ecotours & public outreach, conservation work, and general maintenance at the Triple C Ranch, the last working farm in Edison, New Jersey. Some physical labor required. Must be comfortable working with farm animals. Relevant experience is helpful but not required. For course credits and volunteer work only.


Multimedia Intern (Fall 2009 & Winter 2009)
approx. 8-20 hours per week
Responsibilities: Qualified candidates needed to help nonprofit organization develop its multimedia program, including expanding our websites and blogs to incorporate videos (http://WildNewJersey.tv; http://NewGreenMedia.tv), social networking and social media, podcasts, video production and interactive content. Relevant experience is highly recommended.
*Qualified Multimedia Intern candidates may be eligible for hourly pay.


Communications/ Journalism Intern (Fall 2009 & Winter 2009)
approx. 8-20 hours per week
Responsibilities: Writing articles, press releases, and website copy related to the organization’s public and media outreach program.  Good writing skills a must.  For course credits and volunteer work only.
